The Tuscaloosa County Board of Education has appointed Dr. Daniel Bray as the new superintendent of the Tuscaloosa County School System.

"I am humbled by the confidence the Board has in me and honored to serve as the next superintendent of the Tuscaloosa County School System," Dr. Bray said.

Tuscaloosa County Board of Education President Bill Squires expressed confidence in Dr. Bray's vision for the school system, stating that he was the right fit for the position.

"We were impressed with Dr. Bray’s vision for our school system and felt he was the right fit for the position," Squires said.
