Necar Zadegan has joined the cast of the upcoming CBS series CIA , taking over a role previously held by Michael Michele .

It was recently reported that Michael had departed the show along with showrunner Warren Light and director Eriq La Salle .

FBI showrunner Mike Weiss has been hired to take over as showrunner and filming will resume with Necar taking on the Chief of Station role, according to Deadline.

Necar is best known for her work on the CBS series NCIS: New Orleans .

CIA will have its premiere on February 23 in the Monday at 10pm timeslot, directly following FBI.
