The Nevada Highway Patrol has released new details about a fatal crash that occurred on November 12 on State Route 28 near Village Boulevard in Incline Village.
NHP says troopers responded to the scene of the crash at around 6:06 a.m. on the morning of November 12.
The preliminary investigation shows that a white 2024 GMC Sierra pickup truck was traveling northbound on Tahoe Boulevard (SR 28) when it struck a pedestrian who was standing in the northbound travel lane just north of Village Boulevard.
The pedestrian has been identified as 59-year-old Jerry McGuire, an Incline Village resident. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
SR 28 was closed in both directions between Northwood Boulevard and Village Boulevard during the initial investigation.
