COLUMBIA, S.C. — Thursday was a slightly cooler day in the Midlands compared to recent days due to more cloud cover and a foggy start to the day. The warmer temperatures will return to end the week and will last into the weekend. Temperatures will be 10-15 degrees above normal for the month of November as we wrap up this week.

High temperatures over the next several days will continue to stay in the upper 70s and low 80s. Only gradual cooling into the low to mid 70s is expected by early next week.

Clouds will continue to hang around through tonight with low temperatures falling to the mid to upper 50s, which is much warmer than average for mornings this time of year.
