RICHLAND, Wash. – The Tri-Cities is introducing "Giving Machines" to the community just in time for the holiday season.

Starting on Friday, a new machine will be available inside the Fairchild Queensgate Theater in Richland. This location is part of 126 worldwide.

The machine operates like a typical vending machine, but instead of purchasing items for yourself, you can select from a range of gifts intended for community members in need. Options include work shoes, driver's tests, self-care journals and meals.
