BRAINERD — A second-period surge propelled the Brainerd/Little Falls Warriors to a 5-0 Central Lakes Conference win over the Detroit Lakes Lakers Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Essentia Health Sports Center.

The Warriors scored three second-period goals, two by sophomore Harper Moore and one by freshman Kaylie Glas, to take control.

Moore’s first goal came 21 seconds into the second period and gave the Warriors 2-0 lead. Allie Koop dished the assist.

“When I got that opportunity to take that shot, I put it on the net and it was a fun experience," Moore said.

Glas scored her goal three minutes later on assists from Rya Glas and Levi LeMieur.
