Fans were treated to a show when Lakers superstar LeBron James finally debuted this season against the Utah Jazz in LA. Well, it was not really a great game by LBJ’s standards. Despite his struggles, James’ performance was still admirable as he ended up with a double-double. At already 40 years old, it certainly looks like he has accepted whatever role he’ll play for the team this season.

Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves have been carrying the team in LeBron’s absence. Perhaps it’s time to temper our expectations of James? What’s good is that he’s been actively high-fiving and giving hugs to his teammates. He’s hyped about the team’s direction.
