SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The SDSU women took the floor at what has been a very busy Sanford Pentagon Thursday night before a great crowd and they responded with a 72-63 win.
The Jacks improved to 5-0 as Maddie Mathiowetz poured in 17 points to lead the way. She made 4 from beyond the arc and Katie Vasecka was right behind with 16 points.
The game was tied at 17 after the first quarter when the Jackrabbits ran away and hid with a 27-14 outburst leading into the locker room.
Next up they face 14th-ranked North Carolina in Cancun on Thanksgiving day.
