Bhubaneswar : A cyclonic circulation has developed over the central parts of the Malacca Strait, which will likely lead to the formation of a low-pressure area on Saturday, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to IMD prediction, the low-pressure area is likely to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal around November 22, which is likely to move west-northwest and intensify into a depression by November 24. This system is expected to bring rainfall to Odisha over the next seven days, with the coastal regions likely to receive the most significant impact.
