Following a five-week inquest into the Wieambilla shootings west of Brisbane on December 12, 2022, Queensland Coroner Terry Ryan on Friday handed down findings across nine issues.

He found it was not possible to conclude the shooters committed a terrorist act under commonwealth law as they were "experiencing symptoms of a shared psychotic disorder".

The two constables who were fatally shot were found by Mr Ryan to have been adequately equipped and trained to respond to what they thought would be a routine job.
