Norway and Benfica star Andreas Schjelderup was in court for judgment after being charged over sharing an illegal video to minors when he was 19 years old

Andreas Schjelderup has escaped prison as he was handed a 14-day suspended sentence after appearing in court over sharing an illegal video. The international team-mate of Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard saw prosecutors request a sentence of at least 20 days in prison without parole.

Reports in Norway revealed the judge said emphasis was placed on Schjelderup not seeking out the video, but acknowledged he had sent it on. The Benfica star has also been ordered to pay legal costs and given a one-year probation, with the judge declaring, "You get a yellow card."
