New Delhi: Popular Indian singer Palash Muchhal has proposed to Smriti Mandhana at the DY Patil Stadium , where India won the Women’s World Cup final against South Africa earlier this month. Palash shared the proposal video on his Instagram account in which he is seen leading India’s vice-captain to the centre of the pitch. He gave Smriti a surprise by presenting her with a ring.

The video started with Palash guiding Smriti, who is blindfolded, to the centre of the ground at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. When she finally removed the blindfold, she found that her longtime boyfriend was down on one knee, proposing to her. “She said yes,” Palash wrote as he shared the heartwarming clip.
