New Delhi : A shocking case from Jaipur’s prestigious Neerja Modi School has revealed that Class 4 student Amaira Kumar Meena, who died by suicide on November 1, had repeatedly sought help from her class teacher over prolonged bullying, but received no support. A two-member CBSE inquiry committee, probing the incident, has submitted a shocking report that points to systemic negligence, ignored complaints, evidence tampering and a dangerous lack of sensitivity within the school.
According to the CBSE report, Amaira approached her class teacher five times, seeking help for 45 minutes, after she was allegedly teased and humiliated by classmates over content displayed on a digital slate shortly after 11 am.
