A 46-year-old man, Dmitry Artamoshin, has been arrested in Russia on serious charges including drugging, raping, and abducting young women he hired as nannies for his nine-year-old son. Authorities allege that Artamoshin lured these women to his home in Zvezda, Moscow, where he is accused of poisoning, beating, and sexually abusing them before confining them within his property.

Police are currently investigating the disappearances of two women, Alyona Bolotova, 19, and Maria Vlasova, 25, who went missing on 27 July 2025 and 27 October 2025, respectively. Both women are feared to have been murdered.

Reports from law enforcement indicate that Artamoshin's son has been left "terrified" and is now receiving care from psychologists. It is alleged that the child was forced to witness the assaults and was beaten if he disobeyed his father. The boy is reportedly suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and has visible scars and injuries.

The case has raised significant concerns about the safety of vulnerable individuals in domestic settings and has prompted a wider investigation into Artamoshin's activities. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the missing women to come forward as the investigation continues.
