New Delhi: A US government-commissioned report has claimed that Pakistan achieved “military success over India” during a four-day clash in May 2025 , sparking sharp political reactions in New Delhi and raising questions about the diplomatic handling of the episode.

The report, submitted to the US Congress by the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, examines regional security developments and references the Pahalgam terror attack of April 2025, calling it an “insurgent attack” that killed 26 civilians and triggered military confrontation between India and Pakistan.
