Luca Guadagnino's psychological thriller stars the Oscar winner as a renowned Yale philosophy professor whose loyalties are tested when her protege (Ayo Edebiri) accuses the teacher's faculty colleague and pal (Andrew Garfield) of sexual assault.

'The Bad Guys 2'

In the animated comedy sequel, Mr. Wolf (voiced by Sam Rockwell) and the rest of the Bad Guys have gone legit as law-abiding citizens but they have trouble being good. So there's some serious temptation to fall back to old habits when they're critter-napped by a new crew called the Bad Girls and conned into stealing an experimental rocket.

'Being Eddie'

The deep-dive documentary is a must-see for any Eddie Murphy fan, from lovers of his 1980s concert movies to youngsters who grew up with him as Donkey in "Shrek." The iconic comedian digs into his childhood, takes viewers through his career and tackles why he wouldn't step foot on the "Saturday Night Live" stage for many, many years.

If you're a fan of the nonstop seasonal romances, here's the next one on the list. Minka Kelly plays a businesswoman in France to make sure the sale goes through for a famous champagne brand. 'The Conjuring: Last Rites'

OG "Conjuring" stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return for one last case as supernatural investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. This time, it gets personal as the Warrens look into a haunted mirror and evil spirits terrorizing a Pennsylvania family, and the freaky paranormal activity involves the Warrens' daughter Judy (Mia Tomlinson).

'The Family Plan 2'

Mark Wahlberg returns in the action comedy sequel as a former government assassin/loving dad, this time with a holiday spin. He and the family travel to London to spend Christmas with his daughter, but a run-in with an old foe (Kit Harington) sends him and his loved ones on a trip through Europe filled with international shenanigans.

'Frankenstein'

In Guillermo del Toro's thoughtful and moving adaptation of Mary Shelley’s legendary work, Victor Frankenstein (Oscar Isaac) creates life with a Creature (Jacob Elordi) made from discarded human parts. Come for the gothic majesty, stay for Elordi’s stunning and emotive performance as the Creature tries to be human in an inhuman world.

'Freakier Friday'

In the Disney sequel, Anna (Lindsay Lohan) is days away from her wedding when she and psychiatrist mom Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) get caught up again in more body-swap shenanigans. This time, they also involve Anna's daughter (Julia Butters) and soon-to-be stepkid (Sophia Hammons), who are dead-set against becoming sisters.

'The Roses'

This satire reimagining 1989's “The War of the Roses" stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman as a married British couple living in America. Repressed resentment and grievances explode when his professional success takes a backseat to hers, and passive-aggressive zingers and hard feelings turn their relationship into a flaming hot mess.

'Train Dreams'

Set in the early 19th century, the absorbing and thoughtful period drama stars Joel Edgerton as a logger working on building the railroad in the Pacific Northwest whose job keeps him away for long periods from his wife (Felicity Jones).
