A Massachusetts college professor disappeared last week on an island off the coast of Maine, leaving officials perplexed during the search.
Bentley University English and media literacy educator, Wiley Davi, was last seen on Peaks Island on Nov. 15.
Davi, 57, a resident of the Casco Bay island three miles east of downtown Portland, was last seen there on Nov. 15, officials said.
A multi-agency search for Davi led officials onto trails and wooded areas on the island earlier in the week.
A team with the Maine Marine Patrol also searched the waters surrounding Peaks Island, according to WMTW.
No evidence of foul play has been discovered, the Portland Police Department said Thursday.
