A minister close to DK Shivakumar and some MLAs went to Delhi on Thursday to meet top Congress leaders.
Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar dismissed speculations regarding the CM post. Shivakumar posted on X on Friday that CM Siddaramaiah will complete his 5-year term. I wish him well. Both the CM and I have repeatedly stated that we abide by the high command's decision.
Actually, this discussion started after MLAs close to Shivakumar met the high command in Delhi. Supporters claimed that Shivakumar should become the next CM. However, the Deputy CM said that all MLAs belong to all of us. Factionalism is not in my blood.
The CM decided to reshuffle the cabinet. Everyone wants to become a minister, so it is natural for them to meet the leadership in Delhi. It is their right. We cannot stop
