E-KYC of over 56% active workers under MGNREGS completed: Rural Development Ministry

The Rural Development Ministry said on Friday that e-KYC has been completed for more than 56% of active MGNREGS workers, and added that job card verification under the scheme is an ongoing process handled by state governments. The ministry said 99.67% of active workers already have Aadhaar seeded and that the e-KYC feature offers a simple and accurate way to verify job cards.
