A former Border Patrol agent was sentenced on Oct. 30 to six and a half years in prison after being found guilty in a bribery case.
Jorge Jimenez, 54, of Rio Rico, Arizona, faces a $15,000 fine, a $100 special assessment fee, and six years and six months in prison, the Department of Justice announced Nov. 17 . A jury convicted him of conspiracy to commit honest services wire fraud.
