'Tis the season! Spirit Christmas has officially opened all of its new locations for the holidays.

Spencer Gifts, which owns Spirit Halloween, launched eight Spirit Christmas stores throughout the Northeast in 2024. But in 2025, the company nearly quadrupled the number of locations and opened 30 holiday-themed stores across 12 states in the Northeast and Great Lakes regions.

The stores are a Christmas spinoff of Spencer Gifts' seasonal Spirit Halloween locations.

The Christmas stores will remain open "through the end of the year to help guests celebrate the holiday season," Mary Griswold, a Spencer Gifts spokesperson, previously told USA TODAY. The stores will however be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Of the 30 Spirit Christmas locations, some have opened in pre-existing Spirit Halloween stores, while others are new locations.

What does Spirit Christmas sell?

Fans of the holidays can purchase decorations, apparel, and gifts from the seasonal store.

The store sells Christmas-themed inflatables of famous characters, like a 15-foot light-up Bumble from the Classic Christmas special "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" or a 6-foot light-up Patrick Star, from the Nickelodeon show "SpongeBob SquarePants." Shoppers can also find Santa Claus and nutcracker animatronics.

Holiday-themed stocking stuffers, home decor, drinkware, and more can also be found at the store.

Take photos with Santa at select Spirit Christmas locations

Spirit Christmas has teamed up with Cherry Hill Programs, an annual ad-season photography operation, to capture photos with Santa. This is only available at select locations, according to the Spirit Christmas website.

Photos with Santa will begin on Friday, Nov. 21, and continue through Tuesday, Dec. 24, according to Griswold.

The standard hours of the Santa Photos will be the following:

  • Fridays- 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturdays- 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sundays- 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Meeting Santa is free, but photo packages are available for purchase and include a free personalized video.
