If you’re looking for Thanksgiving cooking advice, I wouldn’t recommend listening to these children from 1981.

A reporter visited a school and asked a class of young kids how they planned to prepare their holiday feasts. Their answers were hilarious and sometimes off-putting.

One student recommended chopping off the head and tail. It was practical, if disturbing, advice. Another suggested popping your turkey in the microwave for a quicker cook time. We don’t recommend that.

Though the tips and tricks for a succulent turkey dinner were lacking, their responses are well worth the laughs.

Watch all the interviews in the video for pure Thanksgiving entertainment.
