Scotland risks falling further behind England when it comes to waiting times to assess children for ADHD or autism, an MP has warned.
Imogen Walker spoke out after a health boards confirmed it was only now appointing kids who were referred to its Neurodevelopmental Service in August 2021.
The Labour MP for Hamilton and Clyde Valley said the waiting times at NHS Lanarkshire were being mirrored elsewhere in Scotland.
The Sunday Mail previously revealed that 28,000 children are on waiting lists for autism and ADHD assessments with some left over four years without an appointment.
