Kate Middleton and Jessie J shared a touching hug at the Royal Variety Show earlier this week.

The future queen and the singer spoke as the Prince and Princess of Wales greeted performers appearing on the coveted programme.

Jessie, 37, who sang I'll Never Know Why yesterday (November 19), wore an all black ensemble while she chatted with Kate, who was dressed in a green velvet gown.

Towards the end of their conversation, Jessie and Kate shared a touching hug, prompted by their mutual experiences with cancer, the Mirror reported.
