YSR Congress party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday warned chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu against being indifferent in putting up the arguments before the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal-II during the upcoming hearing.

In a strongly-worded letter to Naidu, the YSRCP chief said the state government has an opportunity to present its case before the tribunal on Krishna River water sharing with Telangana.

“This is of vital importance in the light of the Telangana government’s demand for allocation of 763 TMC of dependable water in Krishna River to the Telangana state. If the Tribunal accedes to this request, the State of AP would be subjected to severe injustice,” he said.
