The family of Gary 'Mani' Mounfield have shared a sweet childhood photo of the musician only a day after his death was announced. The Stone Roses and Primal Scream bassist died aged 63.

His brother Greg Mounfield announced the news on Facebook on Thursday, November 20, writing: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce the sad passing of my brother Gary Mani Mounfield. RIP RKID." He added in a comment below the post: "Reunited with his beautiful wife Imelda." Mani’s wife Imelda Mounfield passed away from cancer two years ago.
