During the 2024-25 basketball season, the Trinity girls were young. They fielded a team with no seniors and many sophomores, some of whom were seeing their first action at the varsity level.
In spite of having a very young roster and growing their basketball skills with every game they played, the Lady Lions compiled an 18-10 overall record and a 13-3 mark in their region. That was good for third place in the region.
“We did that with a team full of sophomores,” Trinity head coach Lady Grooms said. “We didn’t have any seniors. So, for me, I saw so many great things about that. Now we have a team full of juniors and we have a transfer who is a senior.”
