A pedestrian has died following a collision in Manchester city centre last month, police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called to Upper Brook Street, after reports a had vehicle collided with a male as he was crossing the road. The incident occurred at around 8.25am on October 25.
The pedestrian, 72, was taken to hospital for treatment, but sadly died from his injuries on Wednesday (November 19). The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the attending officers, and the investigation is ongoing.
Greater Manchester Police has now re-issued an appeal for information. Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam footage, is urged to get in touch.
