Happy Friday! A few scattered showers and trickles are possible heading into the afternoon, but no washout conditions are expected for the remainder of the day. Highs will rise into the mid-70s. Cloudy conditions with some patchy fog will prevail.

Rain chances pick back up overnight tonight into your early Saturday morning. The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has issued a Marginal (level 1/5) risk for severe weather. All forms of severe weather are possible, but I do not expect much out of these storms.

The best call to action is to go to bed with alerts turned on, just in case. However, for the most part, I only expect rumbles of thunder, heavy rain, and some isolated straight-line wind damage. Many will likely evade storms altogether.
