Black Panther director Ryan Coogler has paid an emotional tribute to Chadwick Boseman after the late actor received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This comes five years after the Black Panther star died of colon cancer at the age of 43 .
Among those to join Coogler at the unveiling of Boseman's star on Thursday were Viola Davis, Michael B Jordan, Letitia Wright, Disney CEO Bob Iger, and Boseman's wife Taylor Simone Ledward Boseman.
Giving an emotional speech during the event, Coogler opened up about the impact Boseman had on his most recent film Sinners . Released this year, the critically acclaimed horror film , which has a rating of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes , stars Jordan in a dual role as twin brothers.
