The alleged Calgary drug kingpin wanted in the U.S. in connection with a major bust linked to a Canadian Olympic snowboarder and the murder of a witness in Columbia made a brief court appearance Friday.
Defence counsel Chad Haggerty asked that Allistair Chapman’s extradition application be adjourned two weeks while he waits for the U.S. to filed documents in the case.

“We’re awaiting the ROC (record of case) and the order to proceed,” Haggarty told Justice Lisa Silver, in adjourning the setting of an extradition hearing.
