Police alleged the man assaulted his girlfriend.

A 58-year-old man from Cornwall is facing two charges after police responded to a Second Street East business on Thursday.

Police alleged the man failed to appear in Cornwall court on Thursday, which led to a warrant being issued for his arrest. Police also alleged the man breached his undertaking when he went into the business and removed merchandise without paying for it. He was stopped by the loss-prevention officer, and later turned over to police custody.
