On Friday, the Dallas Mavericks (4-12, 0-2) host the New Orleans Pelicans (2-13, 0-2) at the American Airlines Center in the NBA Cup, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

The Mavericks are coming off a 113-111 loss to the New York Knicks on Wednesday, dropping to 2-9 in November. The group led by five points in the fourth quarter, but a pair of 3-pointers by Landry Shamet in the final minute helped seal the win by the Knicks.

D'Angelo Russell led the Mavericks with 23 points, seven assists and five rebounds, Naji Marshall scored 23 points and five rebounds and Max Christie added 15 points. Russell and Marshall are the first pair of Mavericks players with at least 20 points each off the bench this season.

The Pelicans dropped their seventh straight game on Wednesday with a 125-118 loss against the Denver Nuggets. They led by as many as 13 points in the first quarter, but were outscored 71-53 over the next two periods and were unable to recover down the stretch.

Rookie Derik Queen paced the Pelicans with 30 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks and Trey Murphy III added 23 points. Queen is one of six rookies to reach that stat line in a game since 2000, joining the likes of Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren.

The Pelicans and Mavericks are meeting for the second time this season. The losing team on Friday will be eliminated from contention in the in-season tournament.
