MADISON, Wis. — There are just a few days remaining to support the Goodman Community Center's Thanksgiving Basket Drive. News 3 Now and the Goodman Community Center have teamed up to provide 4,000 meals this Thanksgiving.
This year's drive marks the 37th anniversary, which has been supported by long-time staff, volunteers and returning community members.
The drive wraps up this Sunday at 5 p.m., and donations are still needed.
As of Friday, the Center still needs the following:
3,700 cranberry sauces
3,200 gravies
2,900 vegetable oils (between 16-24 oz)
2,400 broths
2,300 stuffings
2,000 boxed brownies
1,700 canned veggies
430 frozen turkeys
All donations will help local families in need this holiday season.
