MONITOR TWP, MI — A Flint man with a history of shoplifting is charged with assaulting two Bay County Sheriff’s deputies while fleeing from his latest alleged caper.
The 45-year-old suspect was jailed in Gladwin County on Nov. 17, though he has yet to be arraigned in Bay County District Court on the five charges prosecutors have brought against him: two counts of assaulting or resisting police causing injury and single counts of first-degree retail fraud, reckless driving, and failing to stop after a collision.
