BENTONVILLE -- Bentonville got off to a quick start en route to a 67-45 win over Cabot in high school girls basketball action on Thursday night at Tiger Arena.
Sophomore Jensen Thrasher poured in a game-high 22 points, while Anniston Moore added 19 for the Lady Tigers (2-0). The pair also hit four three-pointers apiece as Bentonville made 13 treys in the game.
Moore's steal and layup early in the second quarter gave Bentonville a 23-3 advantage before Cabot junior Elisa Perry scored inside to snap the Lady Tigers' 16-0 run. The Lady Panthers (2-1) never really threatened from there, trailing 32-13 at halftime and 57-29 entering the fourth quarter.
