J im Goodwin hopes Dundee United can develop the level of consistency he craves now his raft of summer signings have had a chance to size up each opponent in the Premiership.
The Tannadice boss overhauled his squad despite finishing fourth last term, and his new-look team currently sit seventh in the table after winning just three games in their first round of 11 fixtures.
Goodwin has challenged his players to embark on an upturn in form when they host a newly-promoted Falkirk side who are fifth after taking 11 points from their last six matches.
“Falkirk have shown that if you can put a run of victories together in a short period of time, it can really make a difference to the outlook of the table,” said the Irishman.
