DES MOINES, Iowa —
I’m sure you’re aware of the big sequel being released this weekend. Since I thoroughly enjoyed the first film, I knew I had no choice but to check out if the conclusion held up, because you never know how the second part of a story will stand against such a fantastic first. Especially when the plot is now about how the villain sends people after the protagonist out of revenge for deeds the villain blames on them and to cover up actions the villain has taken.
Since the same director was still on board, it made me confident things would remain just as good as before. So, I was completely ready to jump back in and experience the world of the abstract Finnish word/concept of sisu with Jalmari Helander’s Sisu: Road to Revenge .
