Baltimore County Public Schools students will continue to have virtual inclement weather days next school year should the district go over the three traditional “snow days” built into its calendar .

Though school districts typically incorporate a number of a days to use in the case of severe weather, there’s always the possibility that more than the allotted days are needed.

“The two choices are to either lengthen the school year as a result of inclement weather days or implement virtual inclement weather days,” Superintendent Myriam Rogers said in a presentation to the school board Tuesday.
