A Windsor man could spend nearly 50 years behind bars for leading police on an hour-long chase after firing several shots at an occupied building in Windsor last year.

Kyle Bertsch, 40, was sentenced to 45 1/2 years in prison earlier this week after he was convicted of seven felonies and eight misdemeanors early last month, according to Colorado court records.

He was convicted of felony menacing, illegal discharge of a firearm, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, drug possession, and a special offender charge for possession of the drugs and weapon, along with the misdemeanors, court records show.
