For a fourth consecutive season, Western Michigan is advancing in the NCAA Tournament opening round after stunning Clemson for a 1-0 upset on the road on Thursday night.
The Broncos (8-9-4), who punched their ticket to a fourth straight NCAA Tournament by winning a third straight Missouri Valley Conference tournament title, will advance to play No. 16-ranked Furman on Sunday at 1 p.m. in a second-round matchup.
