The body of a second Minnesota native who died after an apparent avalanche in Alaskan mountains earlier this year has been found.

Authorities in Alaska have confirmed that remains found in the Chugach Mountains earlier in November are that of Charles Eppard, 39, who is formerly of Mankato but was living in Montana at the time of his depth.

Eppard, Jeremy Leif, 38, of Golden Valley, and David Linder, 39, who is originally from Minnesota but lived in Florida, were caught in an avalanche while heli-skiing near the resort town of Girdwood in March.

The body of Linder, who was one of the co-owners of Radio Mankato, was found last month in a river logjam, while the search for Leif's remains continues.

Eppard's body was found in the area of the avalanche.
