Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he has agreed to work on a peace plan drafted by the US and Russia "in a way that would bring about a just end to the war" and expects to talk with Donald Trump in the coming days.
The war-torn country has officially received a draft plan from Washington, which the US side believes could help reinvigorate diplomacy, Zelenskiy's office said in a statement on Thursday (November 20).

"The parties agreed to work on the plan’s provisions in a way that would bring about a just end to the war," the presidential office said in its statement following Zelenskiy's meeting with top US generals visiting Kyiv.
