A former dean of students who has worked at several New Orleans schools has been arrested in connection to reports of indecent behavior with a juvenile, and New Orleans police say there may be more victims.
Victor Ilarraza, 31, was booked on Oct. 17, police said. The initial arrest was connected to alleged indecent behavior with one juvenile under 17, police said. He also faces two counts of domestic abuse child endangerment and a count of domestic abuse battery involving strangulation, jail records show.
"Investigators have determined that many of the victims were Hispanic female students with limited English proficiency, a factor that may have made them particularly vulnerable," the NOPD said in a statement.
Police did not say which schools employed Ilarraza or what the inappropriate
