5BRONX, NY – Five defendants, including a 16-year-old boy, have been indicted in connection with a string of violent gunpoint robberies across the Bronx that netted nearly $100,000 in stolen jewelry, prosecutors announced Friday.

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark said the group, alleged members of the Trinitarios set known as BB7, terrorized victims during a two-week spree.

The defendants allegedly targeted residents in several Bronx neighborhoods, brandishing guns and forcibly taking jewelry, watches, and other valuables.

Armed robberies caught on video

According to the investigation, the robberies occurred between September 20 and October 6 and were captured on surveillance video.
