ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — 21 kilograms of fentanyl and $380,000 in cash were seized from a Georgia home Friday, according to the FBI’s Atlanta field office.
The FBI said the seizure was the field office’s first case under the Atlanta OCDETF Strike Force. According to the Justice Department, the force consists of DEA, FBI, HSI, ATF, IRS, U.S. Marshals and other agencies “to pool the resources of the partner agencies to investigate and prosecute the highest-level members of international drug cartels that have operations in metro Atlanta and throughout the United States.”
The field office did not specify where the home was.
