The South Carolina Department of Health (DPH) has identified three new cases of measles in Spartanburg County, leading to the quarantining of students at three public schools.
Among the new cases in the ongoing measles outbreak is a worker at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, according to a Nov. 21 DPH update.
This case "may have resulted in exposures to visitors on the days of Nov. 10 and Nov. 11, 2025, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. each day," the DPH update states.
Investigators with DPH also think an infected person attended Way of Truth Church in Inman during the evening of Friday, Nov. 7 and again on Sunday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
They advise anyone who may have been at the church or airport during those days and times "to be aware of measles symptoms and contact your heal
