SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Food Bank of Northern Indiana is out in full force helping people in need this holiday season!
Friday the food bank held a turkey pickup at several locations including Walnut Grove in South Bend.
This site provided 200 households with turkeys and other holiday essentials.
We spoke with one neighbor who said these donations are a huge help.
“It helps me out because I am a single parent I get my kids every weekend if I can. It helps me out a lot because the way the economy is right now you can’t get anything at the store everything is sky high,” said Raynard Wilson a resident.
