INDIANAPOLIS (WNDU) - Indiana State Sen. Linda Rogers has been targeted by threats that are currently under police investigation, the Republican lawmaker confirmed Friday.

Rogers said in a statement she has been “the victim of several intimidation incidents” that the St. Joseph County Police Department and Indiana State Police are investigating.

The threats against Rogers come amid a wave of threats and “swatting” incidents against Indiana lawmakers during the ongoing redistricting debate .

According to our sister station WTHR , at least eight lawmakers and Gov. Mike Braun have been threatened since Senate President Pro Tem Rod Bray announced there were not enough votes to pass redistricting .
