LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - After a gray, wet finish to the work week, sunshine and mild temperatures headline the forecast into the weekend. We’ll want to take full advantage of the nice weather - as colder and more active weather looms in the forecast for late next week into next weekend.

Areas of light rain will come to an end into Friday evening with skies remaining mostly cloudy for most of the area. Overnight tonight, skies will gradually clear with mostly sunny to sunny skies expected through the balance of the day on Saturday.

Temperatures will remain above average tonight with overnight lows dropping into the lower to middle 30s for most of the coverage area. Average low temperatures in late November generally sit in the low to mid 20s!
